Your tin is 3D printed, so the logo is raised, not printed. That's why it isn't laser engraving - a raised mark looks and feels better, but it means bold, simple art is what comes out clean.
Turn a photo or PNG into an SVG
- Go to picsvg.com
- Upload your image
- Choose the “Internal 3” filter
- Download the SVG, then upload it above
This works
- One solid color - a flat silhouette, no shading
- Bold, simple shapes - thick enough to see across a room
- Big, chunky letters - a few large characters, not a paragraph
- A vector file - SVG, crisp at any size
This won't
- Gradients or shading - the printer can't fade a color
- Thin lines - fine detail disappears completely
- Photographs - nothing to raise, it flattens to a blob
- Tiny text or taglines - small type prints as a smudge
